Maya has a background in perinatal mental health, anxiety, depression, and trauma. She also offers support to professionals who may be experiencing burnout, vicarious trauma, and secondary trauma.

Maya's passion for being a therapist directly stems from her own therapeutic journey navigating trauma recovery and postpartum anxiety. Maya values and encourages each individual's right to choice; choosing if, how, and when they share their story.

Trained in both Early Infant Mental Health, Perinatal Mental Health, and Child Parent Psychotherapy–Maya regularly uses these skills in additional to a variety of other trauma-informed interventions. She attends trainings and pursues continuing education to keep up-to-date with skills and techniques to support her clients; ensuring best care.
